"When we purchased our historic home in Salem, MA, we were eager to add our own custom touch and personality to our unique property. "We had re-painted some of the interior rooms in our home and once that was done I looked around and felt deflated by how tired everything looked against the new paint. We had invested in some furnishings that I still enjoyed and didn’t feel the need to run out and spend thousands on new pieces. But after more than 10 years in our home I simply felt lost as to how to mix things up to create an updated look.
